Made from one half of the claws of a sterling silver, hallmarked sugar tong - assayed Birmingham, 1946.  It's 'The Claw!" - I love it, but it could be considered 'marmite' going by the reactions of people when I showed it off.  One thing is for sure, it'll get a reaction!
 
Retains its original raised peak cutlery centre line with some additional chevrons added along its length like tiny little beaks!
